The short version
Open Mic League is built for real artists, real battles, and real community momentum. These rules are the fast, readable version of what the platform expects in addition to the Terms of Use.
What is not allowed
- No stolen music, uncleared beats, ripped videos, or uploads that infringe someone else's rights.
- No impersonation of artists, creators, labels, judges, staff, or other users.
- No harassment, threats, hate, bullying, abusive callouts, or targeted intimidation.
- No spam, fake engagement, fake accounts, vote-buying, or manipulation of battles, rankings, or visibility.
- No illegal content, malware, scams, or content meant to exploit or endanger people.
- No attempts to break the competition format or interfere with fair battle and voting outcomes.
What we expect instead
- Upload only content you actually control and can stand behind.
- Compete directly, not deceptively.
- Keep artist callouts competitive without crossing into abuse.
- Respect that Open Mic League may review, remove, or restrict content to protect the platform and its users.
Enforcement
If content or behavior breaks these rules, Open Mic League may remove the content, freeze a battle result, disqualify a submission, restrict features, suspend the account, or terminate access entirely.
